Barbara “BJ” Jones provides Personal Coaching expertise and Human Resources Consulting services. She has been coaching people and businesses for success for the past 30 years. BJ retired from Sandia National Labs after 25 years of professional experience in a breadth of HR managerial and functional responsibilities. Her responsibilities included serving as the HR Director for Sandia, overseeing Staffing and Workforce Planning, Corporate Training and Development, Employee and Labor Relations, Compensation, EEO/AA and Diversity, HR Information Systems and Total Rewards Strategies.
BJ is a graduate of the Lockheed Martin Executive Coaching Certification program and coaches both individual and team clients to enhance their personal and professional effectiveness. She partners with clients to assess strengths, develop desired goals, design action plans to achieve the goals, and hold clients accountable for taking the actions.
BJ’s extensive experience with developing and deploying Human Resource polices for a large organization, and adjudicating employee appeals, brings a real-world perspective to her fact-finding expertise. She analyzes and evaluates complex situations to determine practical recommendations. She has interpreted regulations and effectively interviewed individuals and groups for preparation of concise reports on cases ranging from disputes about pay, performance or discipline to allegations of inappropriate workplace behavior.
BJ has earned both a B.S. in Medical Microbiology, and an MBA, from Stanford University.
