Billie Weatherly is the former Deputy Director of the Ethics and Business Conduct Office at Sandia National Laboratories (SNL) in Albuquerque, New Mexico. As an Ethics Officer for Sandia, she had responsibility for Sandia’s Ethics program which performs consultative services, investigative services, and awareness activities. Billie has also served at the Deputy Director level in Sandia’s Supply Chain and Controller Centers. She was employed by SNL for more than 36 years before retiring and served in various capacities across the company’s mission support organizations.
Billie holds BA/BA and MBA degrees from the College of Santa Fe. She has been active in programs that support local/regional small businesses and supplier diversity. She chaired Sandia’s Supplier Community Advisory Council (SCAC) and worked with local business development organizations, including the New Mexico 8a Association and Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce. Billie served on the Board of Directors of the Albuquerque Chapter of the National Contract Management Association (NCMA) and has been active in the Albuquerque Chapter of Institute of Supply Management (ISM). She attained the designation of Lifetime Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) from ISM. She was a Sandia Women’s Action Network (SWAN) Wall of Fame honoree for Career Achievements in 2007 and received a Sandia Employee Recognition Award for Leadership in Lab Management Activities in 2010.
Billie is a native New Mexican who has served on the Board of Directors for a nonprofit agency, Life Options Academy. She has also served on funding evaluation panels for United Way of Central New Mexico, and supports Lap Dog Rescue of New Mexico.
